Welcome to Breaston Highlanders Band
The Ultimate Choice For Music On The March
A well established Band, the Breaston Highlanders were formed in 1931, and are one of the oldest Bands of its type in the country. Although not a Pipe Band, they adopted the full Scottish Uniform of Hunting Stewart Tartan Kilts, Red Jackets with Plaid, White Belts, Glengarries, Red & Green Socks and the inevitable Black & White Sporrans, a splendid sight not to be missed.
The Band is self supporting, and have travelled extensively through-out the country, and have also performed in Germany and France, besides appearing on BBC Television.
The members of the Band, starting from school age upwards, are both Male and Female who play a variety of Brass and Woodwind Instruments which are complimented by a very versatile Drum Corps.
The Band is available for Carnivals, Fete’s, Gala’s, Parades, Processions, Promotional work and events of a similar nature.
Precision Musical Marching Displays are performed to a high standard, which will enhance your main Arena programme, and also add a smart, colourful and Musically entertaining addition to your Parade or Procession.
